For many seniors the truest sign of independence is driving their car. Unfortunately for many, they are no longer able to do this due to physical limitations such as vision. At Retirement Living Group we understand that no one, even seniors, wants to be homebound, so we offer Scheduled Transportation and Scenic Drives.
SCHEDULED TRANSPORTATION
We learn from our residents and one of the things the we learn at each of our communities, is where they like to go. So on a regular basis we will provide transportation for our residents to their most popular locations. These include:
- Malls
- Pharmacies
- Grocery Stores
- Department Stores
- Discount Stores
- Banks
- Temple Trips
This is an included service for our residents. No extra charge to participate. Residents simply get on the bus at the scheduled time and away they go.
SCENIC DRIVES
Many times it is nice just to get out and see the sights. You don't always have to go somewhere. So for this, we provide Scenic Drives. On a regular basis we provide transportation for our Scenic Drives. Possible locations may include:
- Trip up the canyons to watch the leaves turn.
- Trip to the Great Salt Lake
- Trip to the Copper Mine
- Trip to see the Christmas Lights
- and many, many more.
As with the Scheduled Transportation, this is an included service as well.
